Well we are without a TNA thread but seem to be buzzin' on the CM Punk Angle which is awesome so here we go: A thread to discuss all things TNA. So I'll get started by stating that Ric Flair has made me lose every ounce of respect I once had for him...
In 2008 this man... one of the founding fathers of mainstream professional wrestling walk up to HBK and asked to face him in his finaly match. Together HBK and Ric Flair put on an epic and memorable match at WrestleMania. Ric Flair retired and kept away from our screens for a while until...
Ric Flair debuted live on TNA literally SPITTING in the face of Shawn Michaels and reducing there epic match to nothing... The Retirement Stipulation was pointless as he obviously never retired and he is back on our screens. And the final insult to Shawn Michaels, WrestleMania, WWE and every man who retired properly?
He stated opening impact last night that it was time for one last match between Sting and himself. And he had the guy to state that if Sting had lost that he would have to retire and then went on to say:
"And none of that phony fake retirement crap, you are gone! Forever!"
Sorry Flair but that is just the final straw... Lyiing about your own retirement and then durign a feud telling someone that they needed to retire permanently despite the fact that you yourself are fame hungry is just rediculous... My respect for Flair? I'll buy Alberto Del Rio's garage if you can find it...
