The sound of a wrestling match fills the building with a feeling that the promotion could be something huge, the crowd-although small was blazing hot-and backstage area was buzzing because once again TJ Black had put over one of the guys in an attempt to get Canadian Championship Wrestling’s major talent to morph from bingo-hall employees to the guys that pull CCW into the big leagues. After watching UPW crumble and having a moment of self-contemplation TJ Black decided that he would not let another promotion with the potential to be great fall into the sea of competition as long as he was part of it. TJ Black stood in his locker room watching a TV. It was his “reward” from the owner Jimmy Star who had went to TJ looking for some good talent. The TV displayed the current show from Canadian Championship Wrestling. Two local unknowns were fighting each other in the ring. The two men in question were built by TJ back in his days of confidence of when his heart was in wrestling. TJ had given his all into making John Anderson (going under the ring name) Johnny Razor and Carl Edwards (headlining the night as Divin’ Ivan) into the professional wrestling stars they were today and all he could do as he watched Ivan delivering a Shining Wizard to Razor was think that they deserved to be in ICW more than him. He created them but he also abandoned them as he headed off to ICW. He still trained with them in his home and helped there hone their skills… but it wasn’t the same as it used to be. Ivan had just attempt a springboard cross body but had been caught by the 250 pound CCW World Champion that was Razor. Razor hoisted Ivan onto his shoulders before delivering the Razor’s Blade, a modified (tornado) version of the Razor’s Edge. He watched as Razor covered Ivan for the 1 2 3 a smile crossed TJ’s face as the fans booed Razor out of the building following a post-match beat down in which Razor forced Ivan to tap out the Razor’s Teeth (a Gator Roll Choke). TJ finally turned away from the TV as the screen faded to black with Razor continuing to wrench the chokehold.
TJ Black: A few nights ago I head a moment of self-doubt. I thought that-for a second-I didn’t belong but coming back to my old stomping ground and watching the two men I made but on a 27 minute match of the year candidate… Well It reminded of just what I can do, I may not be the best wrestler in the world but I’m damn good one and it’s about time Tyler Hiroko realises that. But you see now the boot is on the other foot. I will prove to you Tyler is the man that is saddled with a new guy, why Kane keeps creating these pointless tag matches I will never know, but this is my chance to redeem myself for my loss. Tyler Hiroko I will prove to you that I deserve to be in this promotion and I will prove to myself that I belong in the world of wrestling. Earlier this week I headed out for a big night on the time but now is not the time for stories of my personal life. I have only a few things to say to everyone in this match and ONE thing to say to Patrick Steel…
TJ Black: Steel you’ve properly heard that I am now set out to prove myself in this federation and the easiest way to do that is to win a match with some strap on the line. But you’re lucky you see I still consider that to be worthless. You are the only guy to hold that belt and haven’t even held it for one month. I don’t doubt that you could bring it prestige and I’m relying on you to because once I’m done with Hiroko I’m coming for that championship. And when I win it from you… My win will be worth something… Again congratulations on winning the TV Title I’m sure you can bring it value and make that belt important but until then enjoy your deadweight, because once it becomes valuable and means something… I’m taking it from you!
TJ looks back at the TV, CCW’s first televised event “On top of the World” had finished and the picture been replaced with WWE Superstars. Great Khali was destroying Tyson Kidd in a squash match. TJ just scoffed at the TV…
TJ Black: You see this is why ICW will surpass the WWE. No man who is 8 foot, 400 pound and can barely walk deserves to be put over a guy like Tyson Kidd. Great Khali is a classic example of an unhealthy obsession with big men. He can barely walk let alone wrestle, has zero mic skills and yet WWE kept Khali hired over guys like Vladimir Kozlov and DH Smith. And now they put him over true talent like Tyson Kidd… No other organisation would ever value size over talent. And I know that Kane will do the right thing when the inevitable happens and a 9 foot behemoth comes into this federation. But onto my partner, Johnny Nailz I apologise for not giving you more credit. You were… decent… in the ring last week. But every week you need to step up your game. This week you need to be great because we fight Tyler Hiroko and a relative unknown in Noah Hanson, I know nothing about this man and have nothing to say about except that he is stepping into the ring with a man that is desperate to win, desperate to prove that he belongs, I am TJ Black and this marks the beginning of my path to greatness...
TJ Black sighs as he realises that words just won’t matter to guys like Nailz and Noah… Actions speak far louder words… But TJ has one last thing to say and as he opens his mouth to address his nemesis a look of pure concentration crossed his face. His eyes were emotionless but his voice had the unmistakeable hint of hatred…
TJ Black: And I need this win… I need to prove to Tyler Hiroko that a war isn’t three matches long! This needs to end on a grander stage than Saturday Night Showdown! But no war can truly end when it hasn’t begun, this was first contact Tyler, the true war will begin on my terms because I’m sick and tired of playing you’re games and only a truly great man can overcome a great enemy... Unlucky for you I am that man… Tyler Hiroko this war is not even close to being over… in fact 2:1 means this war is JUST beginning… See you Saturday…
TJ heads out of his miniscule locker-room as the camera takes view of two posters in the room. Hung up side by side on the white concrete wall were pictures of Divin’ Ivan and Johnny Razor…

I walked out of MWA and it was over before it even really began, a bunch of talented stars had signed up from across the country the winner of the battle royal was to be crowned the MWA tv champion. I was actually looking forward to getting back into the ring but that was delayed, now I am looking to parlay my time of getting back into the ring in a possibly new home a fed called ICW to be exact, nothing to flashy and really no big signing bonus and no pomp and circumstance. I just want to get back into the ring and the sooner the better.
I need to get back into the ring, I need to feel the ropes against my skin for a little while longer, I need the adrenaline rush for a little while longer if for nothing else but to give me that one last push into the end of my career but I need to be like the Roy Rogers of wrestling, I need to gallop off into the sunset , happy with what I have accomplished and maybe even singing a show toon but hey that might also have to come at a later time.
You see Noah Hanson is not some no name talent, Noah Hanson has been around the world, been to the far east, to Mexico, to Europe and has wrestled at every outhouse and penthouse you could even dream of, I have wrestled every type of wrestler there is from high flyers to brawlers to the so called hardcore specialists. You see I have been there and done that but to have someone call me a “relative unknown” is a slap in the face. I am anything but unknown, I have made a name for myself the world over and just because someone doesn't know me or doesn't recognize me just tells me that they have not yet reached the level of success that I have enjoyed. So why did I decide to come to this little fed that is based in Atlanta? Good question I guess I am looking to get back to my roots, starting out back in Wrestling Midwest years ago, a small regional fed that was based out of Cleveland in an old strip mall. Those are the days I loved as a wrestler, not having to pile into a car with a ton of others wrestlers and driving all over the country, staying in one spot and being able to have a more grass roots approach to the fans in the area. Now maybe we have a small time TV contract and maybe we do plan on tours and such but this fed is a more regional fed at heart and don't let anyone tell you otherwise. I look forward to growing as this place grows, I look forward to challenging the stars of the roster and challenging them to bring their very best to the ring each and every night.
In the end that is why we are all here aren't we...to do our very best. And whether we hold a show in front of fifty or five thousand we need to go out there and when I step into the ring and tag up with Tyler against TJ and Johnny Nailz I am going to do everything I can to make sure the fans walk away with a smile on their face and a warm spot in their hearts and all the while they will know that they saw one of the very best in all the world and that is NOAH HANSON.
And if you are lucky maybe I will make you a little famous, maybe my greatness will rub a little bit of itself on you but that might be asking a tad to much of some you. Some of you might have the skill and some of you might not, but when Noah Hanson steps into the ring with you, greatness follows at every step, it cannot help itself.
So TJ while you might be sitting around eating your pastrami sandwich and some lame TV show, you might want to prepare yourself a little bit better because chance always favors the prepared mind and body and in the end if you come into this match and you are not prepared then you are going to be the one that has a sad ending to a match that would be a possible bridge to a trilogy of epic proportions. You see you play your cards right and a feud with Noah Hanson could only lead to great things, so you can sit there and think that fighting with Tyler is the person that is going to lead you to greatness then you are in for some disappointment because once my so called partner moves to the left you will see what true greatness really looks like and that is when your eyes meet mine and then you get that not so easy feeling that you should have just stopped while you had a chance.
You want a path to greatness but you have failed to realize that greatness is already in your path, that Noah Hanson personifies greatness so in the end you have to beat greatness before you can move onto your own journey and I just don't roll over and play dead, you want to beat me you are going to have to bring your best,m you are going to have to bring your very best, no more TV, no more recounting of past lives or whatever else you do. This is about the here and now and while you might be desperate for a win, you won't get any sympathy from me in fact you'll be a little more desperate for a win after I am done with you.
One thing I will say about you Black is you have guts, you have the guts to keep fighting, you have the guts to keep pulling yourself to your feet and moving forward but in the end your fate was dealt to my hand and in the end destiny wanted me to return to my glory and you and Nailz are the first notches on what is going to be my ascension back to greatness back to the glory that is in one word...CHAMPION. I might not be one now but this is the first step towards that goal and to bad for you, because I have to step over you to get to that goal...
Again fate and destiny have merged our paths into one...

I was sitting there kinda alone in my thoughts, wondering if it was really worth it, going to yet another fed, a fed that could close up shop just as quickly as MWA. I guess I feel like I have some unfinished business maybe that is why I am going through with this. I grabbed my gear bag and got my ass up off the couch and grabbed my cell and keys and looked back at my living and shook my head.
“Maybe this is not just a good idea.” I said slightly under my breath.
“Well maybe we should just rethink all of this?” Kristina said. But that is what a manager is supposed to do except when there are a rather attractive set of long legs attached to an even prettier face it makes the business a lot more appealing.
“There is nothing to rethink.” I coldly replied as I closed the door. “I have to do this, I have to prove that I can do this one last run no matter what.”
“What if this one last run cripples you or worse?” She argued. “I nearly lost you once I won't watch you die in the ring.”
I shook my head. “That won't happen, I am in the best shape of my career, maybe not as fast as I used to be, maybe not as strong but I have learned a lot over the years and this is where I start to put all that to the test.”
She ran her hands down my chest and then looked me in the eyes. “Can you promise me this is the last run?”
My lips quivered as I searched for the right answer but I was having a hard time getting the words out of my mouth. “I don't know...maybe it is...”
I walked down the hall with Kristina following me by my side, headed to Atlanta I guess to the show and a tag team match, nothing to spectacular but something to get the blood flowing once again.
{Back at Noah's apartment.}
A Federal Express man walks up to Noah's door and scans a package in and then pushes it through the squarish hole in the door and then goes on his rounds.
What could be in the package??

Part 3: Where the Wild Things Are
Summer, 1998
Patrick Steel, now 11 years old, sits on a bench in a long, empty hallway. His arms crossed and a scowl on his face, Patrick glares at the door across from him. A few minutes later, the door opens and out walks Officer Stevens, the same officer who was there the night Patrick’s mother was murdered. He has a look of disappointment on his face as we walks over and sits down next to Patrick.
Sorry Patrick, but no one wants to come pick you up. I understand you’ve got a lot of pent up anger and stuff like that, but there’s only so much your family can take. You can’t keep showing up here every week and expect someone to get you out every time.
Fuck them, they don’t care about me and I don’t care about them.
Listen kid, you can’t go around talking like that, especially not around here. Watch your mouth. And I know you care about that, don’t lie to me. Guess there’s no point arguing that with you though. Anyway, I tried my best, but you’re kinda on your own from here on out I suppose. You’re gonna have to stay in juvenile hall for a while.
Fine. Doesn’t matter to me. How long?
Officer Stevens sighs heavily.
I dunno. Until one of your family members comes to get you I guess. That or until the state finds a foster family for you.
Patrick stands up quickly and instantly starts shaking his head.
No. I’m not going to a foster home. I’d rather be homeless. No way.
A couple other officers can be seen walking down the hall towards Patrick and Officer Stevens.
If it was up to me, you wouldn’t go. But that’s how the system works, Pat. Now I’m gonna need you to calm down, because two of the officers from juvie are come to get you right now. If you could just behave for them…
The officers walk up to Patrick, fake smiles on their faces.
Patrick?
Patrick looks at the officers wide-eyed, a crazy look on his face. He punches one of them in the stomach. The officer doubles over, more out of shock than pain, as Patrick tries to run away.
Fuck you! I’m not going!
Before Patrick can take two steps, the other officer had grabbed him by the collar and his dragging him down the hallway.
Let go of me you asshole! I’m not GOING!
The officer continues to drag Patrick and he kicks and throws wild punches, none of which connect. Officer Stevens buries his face in his hands as he shakes his head.
Jesus Christ, Patrick. I hope you learn to control that temper someday.
To Be Continued…
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Present Day
Patrick Steel exits his car outside of his apartment building and heads for the front door. He walks inside, the lobby is pretty nice: not an upscale apartment building, but he’s definitely not slumming it. He taps his foot as his waits for the elevator. Once inside the elevator he pushes the button for the 6th floor. A left out of the elevator and a right at the end of the hallway takes Patrick to his unit: #616. He unlocks the door and walks inside. His apartment give the same impression as the lobby did: he’s no Bill Gates, but he’d be an asshole if he complained about his living situation. Patrick thumbs through some papers on his dining room table then heads to the living room and plops down on the couch.
Another week, another main event for Patrick Steel. Am I surprised? Of course I’m not, because I’m better than everyone else in the ICW. It’s that simple, I’m better than all of them. I know the other wrestlers don’t like the hear that, and I know it’ll give the fans some more ammo to boo me, but I can’t lie to myself. There’s a reason I’m the only man in the ICW with any gold around his waist. And, beyond that, I don’t care who has a problem with what I say. I don’t fear any man in that locker room, so I might as well run my mouth about all of them. And I don’t care about the fans, they’ve done nothing for me and they don’t appreciate my talents in the ring, so fuck them.
Patrick flashes a big smile, the happiest we’ve seen him since his arrival in ICW.
Everything has gone exactly like I’ve said it would go. I won both of my matches at The Big Bang and Tyler and I had our way with our opponents last week. Why would this week be any different? Who is Jaeger O’Meara? Why should I be concerned? What has that piece of garbage done that should strike fear into the heart of anyone, let alone me? I might let the match go on for a bit, I could use the workout. Make no mistake about it though, I am the better man and I will win, again. Jaeger, don’t even bother showing up on Saturday night if you know what’s good for you, because I can promise you that it’s not going to be pretty. I have no qualms sending you out of the arena on the stretcher, O’Meara and that’s probably what I’ll do. I don’t care about anyone else on the roster. I don’t care about Kane Harlow either. If he wants some, he can step up to the plate, too. What’s he gonna do? Fire me? He can’t, because his toilet will go into the shitter the second he does. All the fans may boo me, but there’s no denying that I’m the only reason they come to the shows. I’m already bored with the ICW, I’m just waiting for my chance to win the World Title at this point. Kane doesn’t even have me defend the Television Title, because he knows there’s no one that has a chance at taking it away from me. So Kane, anytime you have an
actual challenge for me, send it my way. I’m getting bored.
All of a sudden, there is a knock at the door. Patrick looks toward the source of the sound.
Who is it?
It’s….uh….you’re uncle.
Patrick’s expression changes to the crazy look we’re more accustomed to seeing. He punches his coffee table, putting a huge crack in it, and storms toward the door.
You better start running, Uncle Mike, because I swear to god I will put you in a shallow grave you piece of garbage.
Patrick flings the door open before slamming it behind him as we fade to black.

A silver Mercedes pulls up outside of the Showdown! Arena in Atlanta Georgia, the rays of light shine brightly of the paintwork of the motor vehicle. A second or so passes as the door opens and out steps Jaeger O’Merea
The searing heat of the midday sun clearly bothers the new arrival to the city, beads of sweat have formed over the brow of Jaeger, as have the liquid marks under his armpits. Jaeger sips from a bottle to keep his hydration up as he stands the surveying the building
Jaeger: I’ve been here for a few weeks, and this is the first time I’ve had the chance to come and look at the place I now call home. There are memories to be created here, dreams made and broken, and a whole heap of stories are going to be played out, and I intend to be part of that
As Jaeger stands on continuing to look, a gentleman wearing a pair of surf shorts, wife beater t-shirt and flips flops begins to walk in the direction of Jaeger, he notices him and continues to sip the water
Bloke: You must be Jaeger
Jaeger nods as the lethargicism from the intense heat and humidity have clearly set in. The bloke extends his hand, as Jaeger extends his clammy limb
Bloke: Well as you know, I’m John Roache from the Wrestling Weekly magazine, and I just want to thank you for taking the time to speak to me
Jaeger: Yeah no problem, shall we get inside?
John leads the way as jaeger follows into the arena, the blast of the air conditioning brings immediate relief to the distressed wrestler
John: So Jaeger, I guess I’m going to be the guy that shows you around also, so let’s start here
John pushes open a door to reveal a huge opulent room, an oversized table with comfortable swivel chair behind, a huge buffet which holds some replica championship belts, and posters of the recent events of the company are neatly hung
John: So this is the main office, this, I guess is where the magic happens
Jaeger looking disinterested, just nods
John: So Jaeger, what brought you to ICW then? I mean, you’ve been here for two weeks, and the first we really heard from you was last week. What’s the expectation?
Jaeger, enjoying the coolness of the room begins to address John
Jaeger: Well, like I said last, I discovered that in order to be respected, you need to be physical, I suffered a bucket load of crap as a kid and teenager, and had to learn how to give it back as good as I got. I realised that I am actually quite good at getting involved physically with people and really enjoyed it, but I had no real skills apart from what I got on the street. I’d looked at sports that offer me the chance to really hone my love of violence and chose wrestling. I mean boxing is great to watch, but just punching someone in the face just did not cut it for me, I wanted to feel body on body, to be able to exert pain in multiple ways and this business really gave me that opportunity. Now as I said, as soon as I realised I wanted to become a professional wrestler, I enrolled into a school where I learnt the trade, and here I am. The expectation, no real expectations apart from handing out a few beatings, and to show those that Jaeger O’Merea is no pushover
Both men leave the room, closing the door behind them, and soon find themselves in the main arena of the building, Jaeger looks at the thousands of empty seats that surround the, what seems a miniature ring due to the distance he stands away from, both take a seat and continue the interview
John: So last week, you had your second fight and managed to get that vital victory, must have been a relief to get the monkey off your back so to speak?
Jaeger: Yeah it was, you want to break that cherry, so when you finally do, it takes a little pressure off
John: Jordon Moss, what do you think of him?
Jaeger laughs
Jaeger: I told anyone that listened that I would win and he would be my first victim, and now you can make an orderly queue and cash that cheque. I just don’t talk it, I do it. Jordon moss really should be a message that the rest of the roster should heed. Although, last week, I felt a little off my game, the best of Jaeger O’Merea is yet to come
John nods as he checks the tape on his recording device. Both men get up and make their way to the ring, they walk around the parameter a couple of times, before climbing in, Jaeger walks over to a corner and sits atop a turnbuckle
John: So this week Jaeger, you get to face Patrick Steel, in this very ring, how do you feel, what are you expecting?
Jaeger smiles as he cracks his knuckles
Jaeger: Patrick Steel, already I can see he will be the standard bearer here, after all he is the Television Champion. It seems that our Mr Steel is destined for the top, but what he, and everyone needs to know, is that Jaeger O’Merea is here also, and he don’t play nice. Now I’m not really going to fire off and say, yeah that I’ll beat him for sure, but what I will say is that I know I can beat him and if the cards full my way, I intend to take full advantage of any opening that presents itself. Now if that means beating him with just my fists, a chair or a two by four, I don’t really care, I mean after all that matters to me is that my opponent knows that once they get in the ring with me, I mean business, I will do whatever is necessary to get the job done, I will leave you in a bloody pulp to make sure that you all know who I am and what I’m capable of
John: Tough words from you there mate, finally, any personal goals you have set yourself?
Jaeger: Personal goals? My personal goal is to begin that long, hard climb upto the top, and that starts with making a statement against my opponent Patrick Steel
The scene fades as the two continue to chat in the ring, and continue the tour of the arena

{Back at Noah's apartment.}

Saturday Night Showdown #2
Live from the Showdown Arena, Atlanta, Georgia, 9123 in attendance
Saturday Night Showdown's official theme song blasts over the PA system around the arena as fireworks bolt around the arena, flashing and cracking. The fans cheer as Stevie Jackson's voice takes over the mic.
Stevie Jackson: Ladies and Gentlemen, Boys and Girls I welcome you to Saturday Night Showdown. And I welcome to you at this time, the owner and current acting General Manager of International Championship Wrestling, Mr Kane Harlow.
'Back in Black' hits over the PA System and the fans cheer as Mr Kane Harlow strolls down to the ring. He climbs into the ring and is handed a mic.
Mr Kane Harlow: I'm down here for one reason and one reason only. I'm not going to waste time blabbering on or ranting on I'm simply going to get straight to the points I have to make. We here at the International Championship Wrestling used The Big Bang as a pilot show for this company and last week had the first episode of Saturday Night Showdown. We set out to make this show a weekly show that could take place on a weekly basis and take slow steps to greatness. However, at this time we are looking to crown a new International Championship Wrestling World Champion, which I will come to in a moment, and therefore have decided that our competitors need to be in top shape for every signle match they participate in the searching for the new champion so ... Saturday Night Showdown will become a bi-weekly show for the foreseeable future. I'm sorry, I'm sorry, it's just what we decided and thats that. But don't worry, we promise that we will find a way to give you fans some top wrestling performances each week none the less!
The fans cheer.
Mr Kane Harlow: And speaking of the championship, tonight begins our hunt, our search, our tournament for the championship. This tournament isn't going to be a formal tournament as such though, no, no rounds nor finals will be put in place but in stead each and every single match will either gain or lose points for a competitor and a league format will take place as shown on the screens around the room.
A small table shows up on television screens around the room with all of the roster listed, each currently with 0 points.
Mr Kane Harlow: And basically this is how the point system works.
Mr Harlow takes a small piece of paper out of his pocket and holds it up to look.
Mr Kane Harlow: For each clean win, a superstar will earn 4 points. For each clean loss, a superstar will lose 1 point. If a draw takes place in a match, as of a result of double countout etc, both superstars will earn 2 points. If a superstar is disqualified in a match, he loses 3 points. If a superstar wins by disqualification, he earns 3 points. And finally, if any superstar interferes in another superstars match, he will be automatically eliminated from the tournament. All of those rules can be changed under certain circumstances but all will be put in place as of now. Now, who's ready to crown a new ICW World Champion?
The fans cheer as 'Back in Black' starts again and Mr Harlow leaves ringside.
John Smith: Well folks, welcome to Saturday Night Showdown and as you heard, tonight begins our search for a world champion!
Kash: Oh it does and I know that tonight is going to be a blast with all the superstars putting their all in to be on top of that table and be in with a chance of being the world champion.
John Smith: However sadly the show is not going to go as earlier scheduled as earlier today Jordan Moss was injured in training and will not be able to perform tonight. The injury was not too serious and he will be back for the next show but it means that we will have just two matches here tonight.
Kash: But two huge matches at that. First up we have a tag team match where we'll see new superstar Noah Hanson team up with Tyler Hiroko to face TJ Black and Johnny Nailz.
John Smith: Yes thats all to come later on but right now we are going to a commercial. Don't go anywhere.
----- Saturday Night Showdown cuts to a commercial break -----
John Smith: Welcome back folks and I hope you all as ready as we are to kick off the world championship tournament.
Stevie Jackson: The following match is scheduled for one fall and is a tag team match. Introducing first, making his debut here in International Championship Wrestling, Noah Hanson.
"Killing In The Name of" by Rage Against the Machine blares and Noah makes his way to the ring to a mixed reaction. He holds his fist up to one of the fans on his way down. As he poses in the middle of the ring a gold and green pyro waterfall goes off behind him.
Kash: Well here he is and what a way to enter the ring. The crowd seemed to have a mixed reaction, obviously apart from the guy on the front row still crying about being confronted.
John Smith: Well I'm sure it was a shock Kash. There was no need for it.
"Artichokes" by Maps and Atlases plays as the arena has a blue glow to it. Tyler Hiroko comes out from behind the curtain and out onto the ramp. He looks out into the crowd and walks slowly down to the ring ignoring all the fans. As he reaches the ring he slides under the bottom rope and into the ring. Tyler stands up and walks over to the corner and stands on the middle rope while holding his arms out to the sides. He then jumps off the ropes.
Stevie Jackson: And his partner, Tyler Hiroko!
The two men nod at each other before awaiting their opponents.
The First Verse of "Scream" by Adelitas Way plays as smoke fills the arena and the camera looks around into the crowd zooming in on several Black fans and signs. When Rick DeJesus sings the first "I CAN MAKE YOU SCREAM!" A shadow emerges from the smoke and TJ Black is shown in a black jacket he uses Edge's Pyro in tribute before sprinting down to the ring and sliding in like Evan Bourne. Once in the ring he runs to a random Turnbuckle and leaps to the top rope before back flipping off and landing on his feet. He then awaits his partner.
"Assassin" by Venom blasts through the speakers. The arena goes completly dark, a single spotlight searches throught the arena for Johnny. Finally the spotlight finds Johnny Nailz somewhere in the crowd. He is walking through the crowd. He reaches the barrier and climbs over it. He then rolls under the ropes and into the ring. He climbs the nearest turnbuckle and throws both arms in the air. He then makes a cut-throat motion along his throat.
Stevie Jackson: Introducing secondly, the team of TJ Black and Jonny Nailz!
The two men shake hands before facing their opponents. Patrick Moore speaks to both teams before signalling for the bell to be rung.
John Smith: Well here we go.
Kash: Let's see who's gonna start this match.
TJ walks over from his corner faces both Tyler and Noah. The three men have a staredown all focused and in complete concentration.
John Smith: A hell of a lotta tension building here between TJ Black, Tyler Hiroko and Noah Hanson.
Suddenly Johnny Nailz runs and hits a double-arm clothesline on both Tyler and Noah knocking them both down.
Kash: Woah, what a shot! From out of nowhere!
Nailz now lifts Noah into a turnbuckle and begins delivering some straight punches. TJ pulls Tyler into the opposite turnbuckle and delivers some straight punches of his own. Patrick Moore tries to break up both sets of punches unsuccessfully
John Smith: TJ and Johnny Nailz now taking control of their opponents and the match.
Nailz and TJ look back at each other and give a nod. The two men irish whip their opponents towards each other. In the center of the ring Noah and Tyler dodge each other and carry on running straight into their opponents, Tyler now into Nailz and Noah now into TJ. The two men begin their own sets of straigh punches and kicks in the turnbuckles.
Kash: And quickly Noah Hanson and Tyler Hiroko switch back the control in this match.
Noah now stomps down TJ and rolls him out of the ring. Tyler whips Nailz into Noah and Noah delivers a belly to belly suplex. The two men pull Nailz back up and whip him into the ropes. On the return Nailz ducks a double clothesline and hits a flying elbow on Noah Hanson. He then hits another flying elbow on Tyler Hiroko.
John Smith: And Johnny Nailz looking to build some momentum here.
Nailz now hits a clothesline on Tyler and a powerslam on Noah. He whips Noah at the ropes and hits a big back body drop before repeating this onto Tyler. Nailz now taunts to the fans whilst Patrick Moore rolls Noah out of the ring.
Kash: He should not be taunting here, he needs to carry on getting to work on these two.
Nailz now pulls Tyler's head in between his legs and lifts him up for a powerbomb.
John Smith: He will be looking for the Body Hammer here!
Tyler however delivers a few right hands to Nailz and then a hurricanrana.
Kash: But Tyler has fought out!
Nailz rolls through and stands back up. He lifts Tyler up for a firemans carry slam but Tyler fights out and bounces off the ropes. Tyler hits an enzuguri. Nailz drops to the mat.
John Smith: Oh what a shot! A huge kick, I could almost feel that.
Tyler now stands back up but is instantly hit with a super kick from TJ Black.
Kash: Oh and thought Tyler Hiroko could have had it there but TJ is in to make the save.
John Smith: Well this match is going to keep going and we'll be back after the break to see the conclusion.
----- Saturday Night Showdown cuts to a commercial break -----
As we return Johnny Nailz is now in the ring with Noah Hanson. Noah has Nailz in a figure four leg lock to which Nailz is grimacing in pain trying to fight out. Noah is shouting at Nailz to 'tap out'.
John Smith: Well as we return Johnny Nailz is now in a bad situation. He is locked into Noah Hanson's figure four leg lock and I don't see how he can fight out.
Kash: I knew this Noah Hanson was going to bring something good tonight in his first match.
TJ Black is reaching into the ring but is over a foot away from Nailz's hand. TJ leans right over and almost reaches Nailz's hand. Noah releases the hold and pulls Nailz back towards his corner. Noah drops an elbow on Nailz's leg before tagging in Tyler Hiroko.
John Smith: Well here comes Tyler Hiroko and this a good technique to keep the weaker man in the ring right now.
Tyler now drops a leg onto Nailz's stomach before covering him, but only getting a 2 count. Tyler now pulls Nailz up to his feet and bounces off the ropes. He hits a swinging neckbreaker and then a DDT from Nailz kneeling. He covers him again but still only gets a 2 count.
Kash: Tyler Hiroko is ready to get this over with now!
Tyler now stands over in the corner and waits for Nailz to get to his feet. As Nailz turns Tyler charges and leaps at Nailz. Nailz however catches Tyler and almost from nowhere hits a powerbomb.
John Smith: Oh and what a move! Now TJ is bursting to get the tag!
Nailz makes a leap towards his corner and tags in TJ. TJ leaps over the ropes into the ring and immediately starts stomping on Tyler. He lifts Tyler and hits a T-bone suplex. He then follows up with an STO backbreak and reverse DDT.
John Smith: And thats the Canadiam Combo but I don't think TJ is ready yet to go for the cover.
TJ climbs the top rope and signals for a phoenix splash.
Kash: Could this be John? Could this be?
John Smith: I think TJ is going to go for the Death From Above!
TJ jumps and hits the phoenix splash.
John Smith: Death From Above! Death From Above!
TJ does not cover again though and shouts out 'extinction' to the fans.
Kash: TJ should have covered there, this could all backfire!
Noah enters the ring to attack TJ but Nailz charges into him and knocks him out of the ring. TJ then pulls Tyler up to the top rope and into the position for the pesi plunge. Nailz watches.
John Smith: This is going to be extinction for Tyler Hiroko!
Noah however pulls TJ onto the outside of the ring from the turnbuckle. He re-enters the ring and dodges a punch from Johnny Nailz. Nailz bounces at the ropes but Noah hit a reverse russian legsweep on the return.
Kash: Yes it's all switched, the momentum has all switched! Summer Bomb!
Noah climbs to the top rope and delivers an elbow drop, before hooking Nailz's leg.
John Smith: Oh and the Ladykiller! He hookes the leg, 1 .. 2 .. 3! Noah Hanson and Tyler Hiroko have won.
Patrick Moore holds Noah's hand up as Noah instructs him to!
Stevie Jackson: Here are your winners, Noah Hanson and Tyler Hiroko!
'Killing in the name of' hits as Noah leaves without Tyler. Tyler slowly follows up the ramp. TJ rolls back into the ring and holds his head in despair. He is clearly unhappy. He leaves the ring but to claps and cheers from the fans.
Kash: What a match John, and what a pair of winners!
John Smith: Certainly a great match, but that man there, TJ Black, almost had it and must be terribly disappointed.
Kash: Well that John, is just how it goes.
The screens now around the ring switch on again and show the table again. Noah Hanson and Tyler Hiroko now have 4 points each, TJ Black and Johnny Nailz now have -1 point each and everyone else still has 0 points.
John Smith: Well there we go and coming up next more points will be added in our macth between the ICW Television Champion Patrick Steel and Jaeger O'Meeara.
The sound of footsteps in the rain fills the arena and Jaeger O'Meara makes his way to the ring, completely focused on his match. He stands in the ring and faces up the ramp.
John Smith: Well Jaeger looks completely focuse tonight.
Kash: Well you have to remember that not only could Jaeger become in contention for the World Championship but also for the Television Championship.
“To Hell With Good Intentions” hits over the PA and the crowd erupts in a chorus of boos. Patrick Steel steps out from behind the curtain with his hands to his side, as if he welcomes the boos. He walks toward the ring with a smile on his face, responding to the crowds jeers as he does. When he reaches the ring, Steel rolls under the bottom rope and goes to the center of the ring with his hands held high as the boos continue to pour down.
Stevie Jackson: The following match is tonights Main Event. Introducing first, weighing in at 292 pounds, Jaeger O'Meara! And secondly, his opponent, weighing in at 229 pounds. He is the ICW Television Champion Patrick Steel!
The two men stand in their corners and stare at each other waiting for the match to begin.
John Smith: Well our main event match will be right up after this break. Don't go anywhere.
----- Saturday Night Showdown cuts to a commercial break -----
John Smith: We welcome you back now at a time when this match is just about to kick off.
Kash: Yes and I cannot wait. Although I'm finding it hard finding someone to route for in this match.
Crowd chants have now broke out ranging from 'Patrick Sucks!' to 'Jaeger is Boring'. The bell rings and Jaeger and Patrick lock up in the center of the ring.
John Smith: And here we go.
Jaeger forces Patrick back into a turnbuckle while still keeping the hold. Brian Griffin makes him break it but Patrick slaps Jaeger.
Kash: Oh and a slap there from Patrick Steel. Cheeky but I like it!
Jaeger goes for a big elbow shot but Patrick ducks and moves out of the corner. Patrick now delivers some punches to Jaeger's abdomen in the corner and knees to his gut. Patrick moves backwards and then runs and delivers a huge cross body crushing Jaeger in the corner.
John Smith: What a crossbody! Steel taking control in the early goings.
Patrick then whips Jaeger into the ropes. On the return, Patrick ducks under Jaeger's clothesline but Jaeger instead hits a sidewalk slam.
Kash: Jaeger O'Meara now hits back.
Jaeger covers but gets a very short 2 count. He drops a few elbows onto Patrick before covering again. He again gets a very short 2 count.
John Smith: Jaeger is looking for a quick win here and with good reason.
Jaeger lifts Patrick up and now hits a hanging suplex. He covers but gets another 2 count. He lifts Patrick up once more and hits a scoop slam. He hooks the leg but Patrick kicks out again at 2. Jaeger bangs his fists on the mat.
Kash: Jaeger don't get frustrated, it will not help.
Jaeger shoves Patrick's face with his foot before again lifting him up. This time Jaeger whips Patrick into a turnbuckle. Jaeger follows up by charging at the turnbuckle but Patrick moves out of the way. Patrick hits a belly to back suplex and holds for a pin fall.
John Smith: Patrick Steel with a belly to back and he's held it, 1 .. 2 but Jaeger kicks out.
Jaeger quickly rises to his feet again but Patrick hits a low kick and a double arm DDT. Patrick covers but only receives a 2 count. Patrick nows goes through the ropes and stands on the outside of the mat.
Kash: I'm not too sure what we're going to see here.
As Jaeger stands, Patrick springboards and goes for a bulldog. Jaeger ducks though and Patrick crashes down. Jaeger quickly takes this opportunity and hits a ganso bomb.
John Smith: A ganso bomb! This could do it.
Jaeger covers Patrick.
Kash: 1 .. 2 . But Patrick Steel somehow manages to kick out.
Jaeger bangs his fists again before hitting a few elbow uppercuts on the downed Patrick. Jaeger lifts Patrick and now sets up for a gringo killer.
John Smith: Is he going to be able to hit the Jaeger Bomb?
Patrick drops down though and rolls up Jaeger. He does not wait for the pin count though and instead stands up and locks in a sharpshooter.
Kash: Steel Trap, Steel Trap! This match is becoming harder to call buy the minute.
Jaeger is now fighting to reach the ropes but Patrick is not budging and staying firmly in the center of the ring. Jaeger is crawling but only moving slightly.
John Smith: This could all be over soon, Jaeger must be in excrutiating pain!
Jaeger crawls more and stretches out his long arm to grasp the bottom rope. Brian Griffin counts '1,2,3,4' before pulling Patrick off of Jaeger and having a stern word. Patrick runs at Jaeger but from nowhere Jaeger locks in a cross face chicken wing.
Kash: Jaeger Fried Chicken! Now Jaeger has a submission manuever locked in.
Patrick shouts in pain as he stretches his legs to reach the ropes. He left foot hooks around the bottom rope and Brian Griffin signals for Jaeger to break the hold. Brian counts '1,2,3' before Jaeger breaks the hold. Brian has a strong word with him before Jaeger pushes past and moves over to Patrick. Patrick however rolls Jaeger into a modified school-boy pin.
John Smith: Roll-up! 1 .. 2 .. Thr, Oh no, so close.
The two move away from each other but Jaeger runs and sends both men flying over the top rope. The two fight as they get up on the outside. Jaeger tries to lift Patrick but he drops down on the other side and hits a diamond cutter.
Kash: Total Carnage! Patrick needs to get Jaeger into the ring.
Patrick rolls Jaeger into the ring and covers him quickly.
John Smith: 1, 2 but Jaeger somehow grabs the rope.
Patrick lifts his head up with a shocked expression on his face. He simply says 'What?' to himself as he stands up. He now leans on the ropes as Jaeger stands up. He then swings leg but Jaeger catches it and pulls Patrick in towards him. Jaeger delivers a few straight punches before setting up and hitting the Jaeger Bomb.
Kash: The Jaeger Bomb! That will surely do it. 1 .. 2 .. 3. He's wo...
John Smith: No! No, Patrick Steel's foot was on the rope.
Jaeger rolls away from Patrick and holds 3 fingers up to the referee. Brian Griffin shakes his head and says 'Two'. Patrick rolls out of the ring to recompose himself but Jaeger follows.
Kash: The two on the outside of the ring now and I don't know what is going to end this match!
The two trade rights and lefts on the outside of the ring as Brian Griffin shouts for them to return to the ring threatening to begin a count.
John Smith: The two should really return to the ring, I would hate to see this great match end as a draw.
Jaeger now pulls Patrick up onto the announce table. He lifts Patrick up for a powerbomb.
Kash: Could this be a powerbomb straight through the announce table?
Patrick fights out however and drops down behind him. Patrick pushes Jaeger away from him and then moves onto the ring barrier. He jumps and delivers a type of shining wizard that puts both men through the announce table.
John Smith: Oh my god! Both men crashing through the table!
The two men lie still on the carnage as the commentators stand up from their chairs and look straight down at the two. Brian Griffin begins the count.
'1 ... 2 ..'
Kash: Neither men looks like their moving so I think this one could end as a draw.
'. 3 ... 4 ... '
John Smith: Wait, both men are now making a move, this one is going to be tight Kash.
Both Patrick and Jaeger are now crawling towards the ring, looking very battered and worn.
'5 ... 6 ... 7'
Kash: Jaeger is at the cloth, can he find the strength to pull himself into the ring?
Jaeger is now struggling to climb up. Patrick crawls and reaches the ring.
'... 8 ... 9 .'
John Smith: Patrick is in! Patrick Steel is in the ring!
'.. 10!'
Brian Griffin signals for the bell and the match ends.
Kash: Oh no, Jaeger was so close but he just couldn't fight anymore to get into that ring!
Stevie Jackson: Here is your winner, Patrick Steel!
'To hell with good intentions' now begins to play as Patrick lies inside the ring and Jaeger lies on the outside.
John Smith: Well what a match, and what a night.
The screens around the ring show the current table now.
Kash: And there we see who is and who isn't doing well in our current world championship tournament.
John Smith: Yes and there will be much more of that to come on the next Saturday Night Showdown, so we will see you all then!
The camera pans around the arena for the last time before fading out to the International Championship Wrestling sumbol and going off air.
