I could sit here and tell you about how many times I have left an event and felt let down by the way I performed but that is exactly the way I left Breaking Dimensions...let down. I went into the match with high expectation, believing that I could handle some meat head that called himself simply Kuroi, maybe I underestimated him, maybe I had spread myself a bit to thin with my match in ICW but either way I came up a bit short in the end and walked out of the Decay Nation tournament with my first loss in quite a while you'd have to go back to my days in UCWA which was over a year ago to find my last loss. But that was then and this is now and I have seen that not being fully prepared for a match can only lead to one thing and that is a loss. So now I have the Decay Nation deal out of my way, I have gotten my feet wet and gotten the people over at Decay Nation to look at what I can do. I may have come up a little on the short end of the pinfall but it does happen and it won't be the last time I lose and I am just saying that it is now time to get back on track and get back to the business at hand and that is ICW.
See what I have done since I arrived on the scene was be the most consistent star on the roster. I have went out there to that ring and dominated week in and week out. I have shown why Noah Hanson is the number one contender to the TV title even though it is the secondary title in ICW and the only active title at the moment I have shown that I am a class above the rest of the talent here and that includes the so called champion Patrick Steel, I have shown that while he has danced with every jobber on the roster I have went out there and decimated the rest of the talent. You can sit there and say whatever you want about whomever you want but you can't talk titles unless you include my name in the mix.
Steel if you walk out of that ring and you have that title and have beaten me one, two and three in the middle of the ring then you sir have been hiding your true talent and you are truly a diamond in the rough but you see I doubt that very much. I have watched you from the back for weeks, have watched you fumble your way through the most lopsided of matches, where you should be the dominant champion that everyone says you are but you couldn’t even dominate the perennial doormat TJ Black, a man that I have beaten on three different occasions. All I can say is that I hope you have been playing some sort of game, I am hoping that while you were running your mouth about how you wanted a challenge and you never met me in the ring it was all part of plan, that you were actually studying me, that you watched what I was doing and taking notes because you knew you were going to have to face me eventually. A betting man would have put money on the fact that we were going to find out who was the better man in the end and you better believe that I am going to hit you with everything I can. You want to act like a champion I am going to beat you like a champion, I am going to hit you with every move I can in my arsenal. You need to reserve yourself to the fact that you were a big fish in a small pond and what happens when a bigger predator is introduced to the pond? The formerly big fish is now the meal of the new big fish and that in a nut shell is what you have to look forward too, you have a life left of looking at me with something you held and were never even really challenged for UNTIL now...
Let's just see how you do when someone that can actually string a few moves together gets in the ring with you. I am betting the fans are wondering what is going to happen when someone that has been making demands and pushing people around meets someone that won't be pushed around and someone that fights back. See that is what is going to happen when you step into the ring with me, you can try and intimidate me but there are a few problems with trying that tactic with me....i usually push right back.
I am going to do the fans of ICW a favor...i am going to take the title from you and I am going to fight each and every star on the roster and then after I have beaten them, then and only then will you get your rematch and then and ONLY then will you be forced to realize that you just don't have the same skill set as Noah Hanson, that you just don't have the same bloodline as Noah Hanson and that you just can't be Noah Hanson.
But lets make one thing clear the fans won't be getting a smile from ear to ear, waving to the fans and kissing the babies type of wrestler. In one way we are both alike you and I we both can't stand the fans. You are the type of wrestler that would rather hide from the public, from the fans and from your challengers. See I am not like that, see I may harbor ill will towards those masses of filth that come to the shows each and every week and while I may hate them, while I may look at them and want to throw up in the nearest trash bin I still do it for them. I do it for the ability to entertain them, even though all they do is pile junk in their collective mouths and smoke lung blackening cigarettes. But I still live for them, if they are throwing stuff at me after I have went on a rant then I am doing my job, if they are booing me out of the building then I am doing my job and after I beat you for the TV title...a title that is made for a man that works and lives for the camera...i will be doing MY job...
I live my life believing that fate and destiny are intertwined and I believe that I was meant to be the TV title, I believe that I was destined to win the ICW TV title and I believe that your fate is to lose the title to ME.
Accept your fate....
Meet your destiny...
Lose your belt...
All your roads lead to me....
{Las Veagas, NV} {8:30 pm} {the day after Noah's 1st round loss}
{Noah is seen walking through the airport terminal, his gearbag slung over his shoulder and his mp3 player earbuds firmly entrenched in his ears music blaring. Kristina is a few steps behind him chatting away on her blackberry.}
“Babe?” Kristina yelled at Noah as she tugged on the back of his shirt.
Noah turned towards his lovely wife and pulled one of the earbuds. “What?”
“Where do we go from here?” She asked. “You lost your match to Kuroi...”
“That match doesn't really matter, it was just one match, I have lost plenty of matches and the match I have against Steel is really the match that matters.” Noah explained and then continued to walk towards his flight.
“You don't expect Steel to just roll over do you?” She asked.
“Where would the fun be in all that?” Noah said with a smile. “I want him to hit me with everything he's got that way when I beat him and take his title he has no excuses....he just lost plain and simple to the better man....excuse me to the best man in wrestling.”
“But you lost to Kuroi, how can you call yourself the “best in wrestling”? She asked.
Losing a match to someone that I couldn't really see live and scout doesn't really mean much to me.” Noah remarked coldly. “He was a one off, a fling if you will, Steel, Steel is what it's all about and when I win the match things will be different in ICW. You can count on it...”
